A little note from Tammy- I am a lifelong artist and crafter. My mother was a professional artist for many years so I grew up surrounded by art and hobby supplies. I love all types of crafts but find my true crafting passion in papercrafts, ribbonwork, and sewing. I love to combine elements of all three into my projects.
I have been an instructor and project designer in the papercraft/scrapbook industry for more than 5 years.
I have been fortunate to work for many top manufacturers including: Tim Holtz, Ranger Ink, BasicGrey, Pink Paislee,Therm O Web, ProvoCraft/Cricut, Prima Marketing, Glitz Design, and Tattered Angels. (and a few new surprises TBA soon!)
My work has been published in several books, magazines, and product catalogs and has been featured on television. My classes have been offered at stores, conventions, and online on both my own blog and at Big Picture Classes.
When I am not creating, I am a wife and mother of three who loves anything and everything shabby, chippy, and vintage. I love to scour flea markets for old treasures. I am also a fair weather gardener so if the spring breezes are blowing, you will probably find me playing in the dirt in my flower garden.

SWAPS
We try to do at least one swap per month, so here is a quick little update on the ones coming up!

The March card swap theme is Embossed Cards. (Not heat embossed, but using embossing folders.)
For the April card swap, we switched things up a bit and based it on a sketch, which can be found in the Jan/Feb Newsletter. Deadline to sign up for that is the 2nd Sat in March and then we will swap the 3rd. Sat in April!
I cannot wait to see what everyone comes up with! Call or email in to sign up to be a part of the swap! I love how many ideas I get from these...and a deadline is always great to keep me motivated.

The Dubois Ruritan is hosting the 3rd Annual 12 hour Scrapbooking Event Sat. April 28th from 9am-9pm at the Northeast Dubois High School. Cost-$25 To register or questions please call Amy at 812-678-2204. Deadline to register is Monday April 23rd.
If you need a cropping fix before any of those or somewhere in between- be sure to sign up for one of our late night crops! We have a crop one Friday night each month from 4-Midnight...and the 2nd Sunday of the month is always a FREE crop!

Join us at St. Mary's for the annual Autism Awareness crop! We can't wait, and it is such a great cause!
The Date of the crop is April 28th. You can go to www.stmarys.org click on calendar, search Crop Paper Scissors and there is an icon to view the form at the bottom , right hand side of that page. Remember- this crop can only take 100 people and it sells out each year!!
